Zócalo of the city [plinth] Oaxaca Mx

Zocalo Oaxaca. It was the center of Villa Antequera, now known as the city of Oaxaca, the plaza de armas (zocalo) functioned as a center for mapping urban planning.

Considered as a central reference point, the zócalo is a suitable place for coexistence, in the center it has a kiosk and is surrounded by several businesses such as: restaurants, hotels, travel agencies, and craft stalls.

 

History
Built in the year 1529 by Juan Peláez de Berrio, it was remodeled in 2004.
